Jose F. Colon, MD  – Board Certified Pain Management Physician, Medical Director

Dr. Colon is a Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of New York in New York, NY. He is also the Medical Director and President of the Newark Rehabilitation Center in Newark, NJ, and Partner in Rehabilitation Medicine Associates in West Orange, NJ. Dr. Colon is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the states of NY and NJ.  Dr. Colon is Board Certified by two prestigious medical organizations; the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Board of Forensic Examiners.

Michael K. Seidenstein, MD, FACS – Orthopedics 

Doctor Michael K. Seidenstein is a Board Certified and Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and California. Dr. Seidenstein has practiced Orthopaedic Surgery since 1976, and specializes in reconstructive surgery, including arthroscopic surgery of the upper and lower extremities. He is renowned nationally and internationally for his expertise in reconstruction surgery. Dr. Seidenstein is known for his surgical capabilities in handing particularly difficult or compromised orthopedic cases, and in cases when a second opinion is sought.

Milton Eng, RPT – Director of Physical Therapy

Milton specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine but treats a variety of disorders, including neck pain, back pain, arm and leg pain, repetitive stress injuries, and work-related and accidental injuries.

Ashley Simela, DO – Spine Surgeon

Dr. Simela is a board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in spine surgery. His clinical interest includes minimally invasive neck and back surgery, orthopedic trauma and sports medicine. In addition, Dr. Simela has been appointed as Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedic Surgery. As an academic physician-scientist, he has numerous ongoing research projects focusing on motion preservation techniques. Dr. Simela completed his residency training at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently was awarded the prestigious fellowship in spinal surgery at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, California.

Edwin Perez, MD – Board Certified Pain Management and Anesthesia Specialist

He received his Anesthesia Certification from UMDNJ now Rutger University and his Pain Medicine Certification from the University of Washington in Seattle. He works with a diverse patient population who seeks treatment for a variety of pain and pain-related illnesses, As his practice developed he developed particular interests in conditions such as Complex Regional Pain, Migraines, Cancer pain, and CAM therapy.

Allwyn J. Levine, MD, MPH – Board Certified Psychiatrist

Allwyn J. Levine, MD, MPH is board certified and licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey in the child, adult, and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Levine has over 35 years of experience in evaluating and treating patients. In addition, he has served many times as a court-appointed expert to testify in legal matters (civil, criminal), and is authorized by the New York Worker’s Compensation Board.
