Repetitive Strain Injuries (RS)

Injuries that result from workers using the same motions, again and again, are known as Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), other names include, Cumulative Trauma Disorders, Repetitive Stress Syndrome (RSS), Repetitive Motion Disorder (RMD), or Overuse Syndrome.

Example: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) can be caused by a repetitive strain injury (RSI). A majority of these injuries are caused by workers using repetitive motion on their job and are covered by the workers’ compensation insurance.
